Announcing fabulous learning opportunities for one 15-year-old girl and one 15-year-old boy who will be attending DCIS at Montbello next school year:

A full scholarship for each to attend the upcoming Children’s International Summer Village (CISV) camp that will be held June 24-July 16 at the JeffCo Outdoor Lab facility in Evergreen.

That’s right, full scholarship. As in free! Denver’s CISV chapter has generously agreed to pay for all expenses for our two student delegates, who will be expected to attend the full duration of the camp.

The theme of this year’s camp is, “Rock Your World,” and it is designed to do just that by helping young people learn about peace and tolerance through friendships. Dozens of teenagers from all over the world will attend this summer camp along with DCIS at Montbello’s representatives. Campers will collaborate to plan activities and discussions that focus on current global issues.

It’s going to be a blast!
