Middle School Dean
I’m from Puerto Rico. I started teaching after I retired from the US Army. I received a Master Degree in Special Education from Regis University and an Autism Certification from Denver University. I worked at Force Elementary, Abraham Lincoln High School, Mountain Range High School (Adams 12), Kepner Middle School, and currently working here at DCIS @ Montbello.
I can honestly say, that becoming a Special Education teacher, was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I love being part of a teaching staff that provides such creative, engaging and immersive learning experiences for the children in our schools. Becoming a Dean of Student has given me an opportunity to work not only with student with special needs but with all students.
When I’m not at school I enjoy mounting biking, road bike, going to the gym, snowboarding, hiking, watching Netflix, and I love going to a shooting range.
