Mrs. Gill has lived in Colorado since she was four years-old and began her schooling in Denver Public Schools. She has Bachelor’s degrees in both Communications and English Writing, and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Reading Certification, and TESOL all from the University of Colorado. She has a certification in K-12 Administrative Leadership from the University of Denver and a Special Education Mild Moderate Certification from Metropolitan State University. She has worked for Denver Public Schools since 2004 in varied positions – as a paraprofessional, special education teacher, general education teacher, interventionist, SAL, teacher effectiveness coach, dean, administrative intern, and most recently as an assistant principal. Mrs. Gill is the wife of a Denver Public Schools graduate and the proud mother of three Denver Public School graduates. She spends her free time going on dinner dates, golfing, having movie nights, and hiking/traveling with her husband, gardening, photographing whatever catches her eye, and walking her dog.
